CCSDD Donor Meeting
CCSDD
March 31, 2012
As the SAIS students switch gears from midterms to finals and the city of Bologna transitions from winter to summer within two weeks, the CCSDD interns had an opportunity to present their research and findings to Mr. Robert Abernathy, a prominent supporter of the CCSDD's current and past projects.
The interns focused on several aspects of their projects and how they have impacted their studies (Middle Eastern Studies and the Arab Spring Project), publications outside of their coursework (Bologna Center Journal of International Affairs), and other aspects they have found interesting (Sarajevo Study Trip).
Mr. Abernathy offered several avenues for future collaboration with organization's such as Romano Prodi's "Fondazione per la Collaborazione tra i Popoli" as well as highlighting exciting new areas of research such as DIY Democracy, which explores the relationship between democratic development and technology.
That is all for now…looking forward to a citywide game of tag tonight against the other SAIS students!
