Justin Frosini's View on the "No" Vote in the Scottish Independence Referendum
CCSDD
November 4, 2014

The CCSDD's director, Justin Frosini, who is also the Assistant Professor of Public Law at the Bocconi University in Milan and Adjunct Professor of Constitutional Law at the Johns Hopkins SAIS Europe, has recently published an article on the Scottish independence referendum. In the article, "C'è chi dice no: la Scozia non abbandona l'Unione," Frosini analyzes the "no" vote in the referendum, which took place on September 18, 2014. Instead of construing the result as an unconditional victory for unity, he asserts that it should be seen as the start of a new stage in rethinking Scotland's role in the United Kingdom. For more details on the article, visit the BIPR's website here.
